Although it is not what I have grown accustomed to, at least we were welcomed with what I would expect is the best these poor people can provide.
It appears this fishing village, while unable to provide us with transportation, is in need of our help. After seeing the resources at Poltick's disposable, I don't expect him to be able to come to these peoples assistance, as is his duty. So, it falls to us to deal with these peoples issues.
It appears that something/group has gathered in the hills outside of town and taken umbrage with the worship (or lack there of) this village had offered. People have been turned into some hideous sucker faced creatures and serpents have taken to attacking all the ships on the river. Apparently the local priest was taken along with several towns folks, and forcing several other families to leave in search of better fortunes.
Luckily, my companion Eversong, Cleric of Pan, was able to decipher a map held at the template that should lead us straight to the source of the trouble.
We should have have this taken care of in a day or so, then we will be free to continue on and find some appropriate assistance in reconnecting us with the Empire.

Entry 2
Well it appears that this lowborn "Lord" of the Citadel has a problem he can't seem to solve on his own. As the duly appointed representatives of the Emperor, it is our duty to help resolve such issues.
After a rather uncomfortable days travel to some abandon hill. It appears that someone had decided to take up with Spider worship and had left there pets behind. Descending into the darkness, which these commons seem to find so frightening, we quickly came upon a horrible site. No one had cleaned this place in what appeared to be ages.
I don't know what men this Poltick has under him, but they were of low quality, and had apparently perished in an attempt to delve the depths of the Temple. It seems the place was infested with some large spiders. But with the aid of my brother and companions, we were able to quickly dispatch the monsters inside and retrieve the items Poltick needed.
Although, Poltick doesn't have the resources at his disposable that we require. We let him take his leave of us and headed off in search of a more powerful Lord with a stronger Magus in his employee.
In all the hubbub I did find an interesting, if common, spell form. Following the overdone spider theme it would appear to be a web summoning spell. Might prove useful if we run into any beasts in these woods. It will at least give me something to occupy my thoughts, till we reach more reasonable accommodations.
Also, we are now armed. It appears to be all the fashion in these parts. As I have yet to see anyone without a sword or bow.

Entry 1
Who knew that I would find my self in such horrible conditions after a simple summons from the emperor. I mean, really, who puts guests in such horrible rooms?
But I should explain, for who knows what manner of person could find this document and wish to learn of my fate.
Earlier this morning I was at my uncle's town house attempting to figure out which of my "companions" was cheating the worse when approached by a summons to the emperors person. Believing it was nothing more then another attempt by my father to curry favor with his older brother (His Grace Magus of the Crystal Spire, Duke of Whitehall, Reygon Constantine). But it turns out it was to be an adventure! My brother Rudolf and I would be heading to Earth. It appears some member of the Spire (probably a cousin or some such, it always is) had managed to break through.
Well, due to the requirements of expediency and to avoid the guild council slowing things down, we where sent off immediately.
But you would not believe our arrival was expected? But in such a manner. You would almost suspect that these where commoners. We attempted to explain to them what there duties would be with us here. But I don't believe this Christian Poltick (that appears to be ruling here) fully understood the importance of our mission.
I hope that when we break our fast in the morning he will be more reasonable.
